Mike Lott, of Mike Lott Farms was a featured guest at the Wave Restaurant in the Disney World Contemporary Hotel in Orlando. This was Mike’s second appearance. The dinner was part of a monthly program called Disney’s Tables in Wonderland Discovery Dinner at the Wave. It features local Florida farms and ingredients. Every course featured Florida strawberries in some unnique way. Mike donated the berries for this special occasion. The meal was fabulous.
My husband, Mark, Mike’s wife, Sandy, and I were invited to join in on the fun. Executive chef, Frank Brough introduced the pastry chef who prepared an incredible array of strawberry dessert selections. Think—Strawberry and Champagne Sabayon, Strawberry Ice Cream in a Strawberry Tuile, and Strawberry Confit with Vanilla Balsamic Glaze. What a fantastic night!
