For those of you who have spent real time browsing Pinterest for home decor tips and DIY projects, you’ve no doubt stumbled upon the invaluable blog, Not Just a Housewife, by the crafty food blogger and all around handy Stacy Risenmay. On her blog she shares…

My adventures of fixing up our tiny 1938 cottage. Whether it is big or small, I think everyone should love their space. And I don’t think it takes a lot of money to make a space your own.

Over the last five years Stacy has been sharing these adventures with a growing audience of readers. From building a simple side table to totally remodeling a kitchen, Stacy has just about done it all. Check out her home tour, you won’t find anything else like it! It’s like looking at a South Living Magazine Idea House in real life!

There doesn’t seem to be anything Stacy can’t do when it comes to turning her house into a home. Not one to shy away from power tools and hard labor, she’d much rather be shopping at Home Depot than a shopping mall!

When Stacy isn’t redoing her kitchen, she busies herself taking care of her four littles boys, gardening, reading and of course, cooking.

Page after page fills her site with delicious sounding dishes like homemade Deep Dish Chicken Pot Pie, Cake Batter Fudge and a Citrus Strawberry Drink, which Stacy was so kind as to share with us here on the blog!

Make sure to stay up to date with all that Stacy is creating, improving and revitalizing. Visit her blog, Not Just a Housewife, follow her on Twitter, Instagram, Google+ and Pinterest and don’t forget to like her Facebook page!
