Chef Michael Jasa is the man behind Culinary Artz, a “multifaceted culinary driven company” based out of Coral Spring Florida. Chef Jasa is also one of the winners of our Restaurant Recognition and Rewards program, author, professional ice carver, member of the American Culinary Federation and a loyal buyer of Florida-grown strawberries!

As a professional chef, serving Florida strawberries is an ideal way to support our local economy with an excellent burst of flavor for our guests.

Chef Jasa attributes to his interest in food is the book, Professional Cooking by Wayne Gisslen, which he read cover-to-cover at age 16. Later Chef Jasa entered the culinary business where he quickly rose up be a trainer at most of the establishments he worked for. These experiences groomed his interest in going to college at the Culinary Institute of America to further his skills.

Besides Culinary Artz, Chef Jasa is the author of Ice Carving 101 and remarks that whole Florida strawberries make excellent additions to ice carving displays. We think so too! Watch Chef Jasa carve ice on YouTube.
