Jammer Saves the Farm

The Jammer character was created by the Florida Strawberry Growers Association in June of 2009. A 3D animated video featuring Jammer and his friends was introduced in October to students in Hillsborough County Florida at an event at the Florida State Fair Grounds.

It all started with the animated short, Jammer Saves the Farm, a 12 minute story that brings to life a singing strawberry named Jammer. He and his friends educate children with original songs about Plant City, The Winter Strawberry Capital of the World, and the life of the strawberry from planting to consuming.

It was an absolute hit! The students, all in the third-grade, really connected with the character.

We now have educational coloring books, our very own Jammer dolls and soon a life size Jammer mascot! Jammer is being used to identify Florida Strawberries on packaging and promotional displays at the retail levels. We also have a looping video featuring Jammer in four, one minute infotainment reels a retailer can request from us with fun facts on Florida strawberries they can play at store level.

Educators can contact us to request the videos and coloring books free of charge. Jammer is even on Facebook!

As of 2010, Jammer has appeared at the Florida State Fair, Strawberry Festival, Produce Marketing Association trade show and many other events we attend throughout the year. Jammer has become the face of the Florida Strawberry Industry.
