Scholarships

The Florida Strawberry Growers Association has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships since 1983. Scholarship applications are ready for pick up or download beginning in June each year and are usually due by the middle of September that same year.

Funding for FSGA scholarships comes from the sales of nine flats of berries that are donated by strawberry growers during the Best Flat Contests in February and March each year at the Florida Strawberry Festival.

As an FSGA Ambassador you will be required to attend at least 75% of FSGA functions within our community throughout the strawberry season. You will be provided FSGA apparel to wear at these events.
